Most of our Sales Associates also are certified Master Airtechs. This gives them the ability to not only explain which equipment you need, but they can also repair any equipment when a problem occurs. All guns break; just make sure you have a certified Master Airtech that can take care of your equipment when it does.

Most members of our team plays paintball or airsoft actively. We are a team built of players, giving us the extra edge of knowledge in keeping up with current products and offering personal experience. Paintball and Airsoft are very Fun games, we like to bring that excitement to work every day. We even staff professional paintball players on world known teams that can offer the most knowledge.

Rusty Glaze – Operations Manager
Rusty Glaze comes to Golden State Sports after working for a variety of companies in the paintball industry. His broad range of business knowledge and his commitment to the sport of paintball make him an asset to Golden State Sports. Rusty does a little bit of everything for Golden State Sports. Dont be surprised to see him toting boxes or ringing up customers. Rusty is very hands on in the operations and sales.

Rusty Glaze has played professionally for around 10 years. Playing on professional teams such as Avalanche (the original rock star team), Miami Effect, Infamous, XSV and now currently active with Team Infamous. Rusty has traveled the world twice over and brings all of his tournament knowledge to the store.


Todd Martinez – Managing Partner
Todd Martinez is world known for his funny character, he is constantly making people laugh. Todd was the former owner of a paintball field called Raza Park. It was where all the championship teams practiced paintball. Todd had a vision and created a park where people could train and enjoy paintball on turfed fields. No longer involved with the park, Todd has turned his focus back onto his paintball stores. Todd brings the Fun everyday and makes sure everyone around him is having a great time.

Todd Martinez has played on many Top Professional paintball teams such as Ironmen, Avalanche (the original rock star team), Aftershock, Dynasty and Team Infamous. Todd currently plays with team Infamous. Todd has traveled the world over three or four times winning championships all over.


Jon Richardson - Main Warehouse Director
Jon Richardson is in charge of everything that is shipped and recieved at the Golden State Sports main warehouse location. Jon is an intregal part of our operation and keeps all the product in motion. When the shelves are stocked and tagged, thank JR.

Jon is another resident Professional Player at Golden State. JR has played on alot of the Top Pro Teams including Avalanche (the original Rockstar team), Miami Effect, Infamous, XSV, Infamous and currently playing with The Ironmen. Jon has been playing for a very long time and knows everything about paintball.


Preston Rodriguez – Regional Manager
Preston is an original staff member from the La Mesa location. Preston used to ride his 10 speed to the La Mesa shop, eventually earning a spot behind the register. After working La Mesa for a few years, Preston moved over to the Oceanside location becoming the manager. Now Preston looks over all the locations for Golden State Sports as the Regional Manager.

Preston is an active paintball player. Playing on various tournament teams working his way towards the Pro division. You will see Preston at the tournament fields and at all of our War Games events. 


Joey Regidor – Oceanside Sales Manager
Joey is one of our sales leaders, he has a long range of expierence and can explain the best products to suit your needs. Joey was formerly employed by another paintball shop before we recruited him to the Golden State team. Now he is the Sales Manager of our Oceanside location. If you need some advice, talk to Joey. 

Joey is an active paintball player. Joey plays on various tournament teams. He wants to work his way towards a pro team. Joey is at the tournament fields whenever he isnt at the shop. He sometimes sleeps at the Pendelton Tourney park.


Kelso Carlisle - Miramar Sales Manager
Kelso was a former RAZA tournament park Airball Engineer specializing in Grid Lines, Inflation, Layouts and Sandbag Transport. Once the park was relocated to Miramar, Kelso helped build the Miramar Gecko Park. Now Kelso is the Sales Manager at our Miramar location. Kelso is a specialist in customer service and always brings a positive energy to the store. 

Kelso is an active paintball player. Kelso is always out hustling to get in games, he will play any where anytime. If they let him live at the park he would. Instead he lives a half mile from a tournament park. Kelson wants to make it to the Pro Division.
