Compressed Air Tanks
These tanks are made to hold high pressure compressed air, which can be used on any paintball gun. Compressed air tanks deliver much better performance than CO2 tanks. Each compressed air tank comes with an easy to read gauge, and a fill nipple that makes re-filling your compressed air tank very easy.

Compressed air tanks are necessary when using most high end paintball guns and most electronic paintball guns.

Read below to learn more about selecting the right Compressed Air Tank for your paintball gun.

More about compressed air tanks....
Compressed air tanks are also referred to as H.P.A. (high pressure air), high pressure tanks, air tanks, tanks, compressed air bottles and compressed tanks.
The compressed air system consists of two parts - the regulator and the bottle. The regulator controls the output of the air that goes into your paintball gun.
Most regulators include a couple standard components like threads, burst disc, pressure gauge, and fill nipple.
  • The threads on most compressed air systems are made standard to screw into most air adapters that come on paintball guns.
  • The burst disc are standard on most compressed air tanks, they keep your compressed air system from over pressurizing. The burst disc will blow and allow the air to empty out of the bottle. This prevents the high pressure air from entering your paintball gun to cause possible damage. If your burst disc blows, just take it to a certified paintball air tech for replacement.
  • The pressure gauge shows how much pressure is left in the compressed air tank. This is helpful so that you can avoid running out of air during a paintball game.
  • The fill nipple is the inlet adapter for allowing compressed air into your bottle. You can leave the compressed air tank on your paintball while you fill up your air. Its a good idea to get a fill nipple cover to keep any dirt and debris out. If you get dirt and debris inside your fill nipple, it will wind up inside your regulator and could lead to poor performance results.
Most bottles have a 5 year life span before you must get them tested. If your bottle is out of date, paintball stores / paintball parks will not be allowed to legally fill your compressed air tank. You can get a hydro static test if your compressed air tank is outdated.

Compressed air is constant. Unlike CO2, you can set your velocity on your paintball gun and leave it the same almost all day long. You have a gauge that lets you know when the air is running low and its very easy to fill. Stepping up to get a compressed air tank is a wise investment in performance and convenience. Compressed air tanks are standard, so as you switch paintball guns, you can used the same compressed air tank on each paintball gun.

Most paintball players have only owned 2-3 compressed air tanks while having 10-15 different paintball guns over the course of ten years.
